The complicated version of the for loop is required

Later on, you will need to drag the index tile from the loop header and drop it onto a placeholder in the statement being constructed.

This is not possible with the simple version of the for loop.

Click the button labeled show complicated version.

Except for my disabled loop structure, your edit pane should now look like Figure 9 with the complicated version of the empty for loop.

(Note that I purposely cropped the right end of the screen in Figure 9.)
