You can write Alice code using the same approach used for parameters of type Object.

Drag an object from the object tree and drop it into the appropriate location in the edit pane.

A menu similar to Figure 4 will appear, allowing you to call a method on the object.

However, the menu doesn't provide access to custom methods.
