Declaring a parameter

Make sure that the tab for the new method is highlighted.

Click the button labeled create new parameter.

The Create New Parameter dialog will appear.

(Note the similarity of this dialog to the dialog for creating variables that you learned about in an earlier lesson on data types and variables.)
