Not object oriented

Alice is an outstanding product for teaching object-based programming.

However, Alice is not an object-oriented programming (OOP) language.

Unfortunately, the FAQ on the main Alice website contain the following statement:

"Alice is a modern programming environment designed to be a student's first exposure to object-oriented programming."

That statement is very misleading, particularly to those who don't understand the rigors of OOP.
